Job Description
 
 

The Senior Property Claims Adjuster- Re-Inspector conducts re-inspections of property claims handled by staff adjusters and independent adjusters as well as estimates completed by mitigation vendors and general contractors. You will take data collected to identify trends and recommend improvements as necessary and provide training to company and independent adjusters as well as vendor TPA service providers.


This is a remote work from home position that could be located anywhere in the continental United States.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Re-inspects estimating and claim handling completed by company and independent adjusters, contractors, mitigation companies and others.
  • Analyzes data and identifies trends to recommend improvements in performance and/or processes
  • Communicates results to appropriate parties and provide coaching/training based on areas of need.
  • Oversees vendor third party administrator programs, quality control and issue resolution.
  • Handles program concerns from inception to resolution.
  • Assists in CAT situations as needed.
  • Able to work variable and flexible hours, such as nights, weekends, and holidays in response to business needs.
  • Frequent travel required, including ability to travel on short notice in response to business needs such as seasonal catastrophes and claims spikes.
Must Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 5 years property and casualty (P&C) homeowner's property claims.
  • In lieu of the above, 2 years post-secondary education and a minimum of 8 years of prior P&C homeowner's property claims experience.
  • In lieu of a degree and post-secondary education, a minimum of 10 years of prior P&C Homeowners property claims experience.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Advanced knowledge of residential construction, roofing, and repair techniques
  • Active State of FL 620 all lines company adjuster license and any other necessary state insurance licenses within 30 days of hire.
  • Prior water mitigation experience and/or IIRC designation preferred
