Job Summary: Performs complex mechanical engineering assignments following designated standards and procedures. Works closely with other engineering disciplines. Duties require application of engineering principles and techniques. This position typically works under general supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree in mechanical engineering or science discipline plus a minimum of two years of experience or an applicable Master's degree. Desired experience in designing, developing and testing hardware. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to use typical office automation products such as work processing and spreadsheets. Mental ability to perform analytical work. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Good interpersonal skills.
