Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, prepare and package products for shipments. Performs receipt of products and processes in accordance with company guidelines.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Sort purchase, work and repair orders of incoming freight and move to receiving tables.
• Open incoming containers and match attached paperwork to parts.
• Inspect for visual damage and move freight to designated location.
• Open work orders for incoming shop service work.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Properly validate content and weigh all outbound shipments.
• Sort and stack outbound packages in proper staging areas for carrier pick up.
• Verify shipment documentations matches carrier as well as P/N and S/N of units being shipped.
• Perform general housekeeping to ensure a neat and organized work area.
• Maintain 5S compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: 6 plus months of experience
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Corridor and shipping software. Microsoft Office Suite is a plus!
Certifications & Licenses: Forklift License required. Training and certification issued in house.
Other Requirements: Working knowledge of hand tools, material handling and packaging equipment.
