This is the inaugural faculty position for SPC's new Biomedical Engineering Technology A.S. degree program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of the courses within the program as well as continuing the development of professional relationships with area health care and medical device manufacturing companies.
Academic Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering, or closely related subject area. Candidates with Master's degrees in computer science areas with work experience in the health care industry also are welcome to apply.

Position Summary:
A faculty member at SPC has the primary function of instruction, coaching and student development. Secondary functions include assisting the college in developing and maintaining a quality program of instruction, providing service to the college and continuing professional development.
Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree or applicable college degree in related academic discipline. Doctorate degree preferred.
Experience:
Teaching experience preferred. Related work experience preferred for technical programs.
