ABOUT THE POSITION:
Reporting to the campus Dean of Health Sciences, the adjunct faculty member is an important part of our academic community. The primary role of this position is to provide college-level instruction and academic-related activities designed to encourage, support and enable student success. Working closely with the campus Associate Dean of Academics and the Department Coordinator/Program Director, adjuncts are issued a part-time, temporary term-to-term assignment.
Adjuncts are paid at a rate of $40.37/hr.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
Note: For associated faculty, evidence of the associated faculty's contemporary expertise specific to assigned teaching content is required. This evidence can include:
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A minimum of an active Florida Licensure as Physical Therapist and a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree.
OR an active Florida Licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant and associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
Required Experience:
3 years work of experience in the field.
Preferred Experience
Teaching Experience Preferred
Generalist with expertise in orthopedic physical therapy preferred.
