Dewberry is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer for our Orlando, FL office to specialize in W/WW projects. The successful candidate should have experience specifying, designing, and implementing process instrumentations and control systems. Experience in WW/W is preferred however industrial, chemical, and mining experience is acceptable.

Provide instrumentation and control system engineering and design for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare instrumentation and control system specifications, drawings, and cost estimate for projects.
• Review and approve documentation developed by contractors.
• Coordinate with process engineers and develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Develop design documentation for control systems including loops sheets, control single lines, and network drawings for SCADA, PLC, and DCS Systems.
• Coordinate with senior engineering staff to successfully execute electrical designs.

• BS in electrical, controls or chemical engineering preferred, technology industry related degree, or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of design or WW/W operation experience or industrial projects.
• PE is preferred.
• Must have experience designing I&C systems and producing design documents in AutoCAD. Revit experience would be preferred.
• Control system networking experience would be preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with initiative, drive and determination.
• Candidate must have a good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Life Safety Codes, and other related Codes.
• Good verbal, writing and interpersonal skills are essential for coordination with other disciplines, and client interface.
