Job Description

ARES is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join our team. This individual will work with our Human Resource team and support the entire recruitment process. You'll collaborate closely with HR, Hiring Managers, and our corporate staff to achieve recruitment, outreach, and onboarding objectives. This position combines strategic planning for corporate goals with hands-on recruitment and onboarding efforts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Helps develop and execute strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates for open positions, including job postings, sourcing, and outreach initiatives.
  • Builds ARES' recruiting network by maintaining a presence in our community through social media outreach, corporate partnerships, job fairs, and industry conferences. Maintain candidate pipeline.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; assists with the development and revision of job descriptions.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment (researching, posting requisitions, scheduling, screening, dispositioning, and closing) for multiple concurrent roles; acts as candidates' guide throughout the interview process.
  • Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Runs new hire orientation and assists with onboarding coordination and questions.
  • Maintains knowledge of best practices, recruiting trends, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Create offer letters.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Prior experience recruiting for technical positions.
  • Prior government contracting recruiting experience is a plus, especially within the space and defense sector.

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least four years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in government contracting a plus.
  • A degree in a related human resource or technical field preferred
