Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Florida licensed Senior Landscape Architect to join our site/civil department in our Orlando, FL office to work on a variety of projects for clients within the urban development and government sector. Typical projects involve site/civil design for residential, roadway design, commercial and industrial site development, and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities
    Prepare layout studies, yield studies, and parking studies for commercial/residential.
  • Working on design teams to develop detailed landscape/hardscape design elements for construction plans.
    • Site/civil development including grading design for landscape and hardscape features.
    • Landscape and hardscape design for transportation projects.
  • May also conduct code research, write specifications, and coordinate permitting.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture and/or planning
  • Florida RLA required
  • AICP certification strongly preferred
  • Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup, Illustrator, GIS/ArcView and Power Point
  • Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign and Microsoft office is required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
