Stanley Consultants is seeking an Entry Level Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer for our DeBary, FL office to assist our ITS Department staff with production of plans, specifications, engineering analysis, and systems engineering documents.

Tasks include: production of ITS and traffic signal plans, systems engineering analysis, design of low-voltage electrical distribution systems, design of fiber optic networks, report writing, field investigations of existing infrastructure, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. In our ITS Department, you will work on cutting edge projects that improve mobility and safety, such as wrong way vehicle detection, connected vehicles, smart work zones, smart signals, and adaptive traffic signal systems.

Background requirements include:

  • Must possess a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Experience in the preparation of plans for transportation projects is a plus, but not required
  • Must have an Engineer Intern (EI) certification
  • Proficiency with MicroStation or AutoCAD is a plus
  • Knowledge designing and analyzing electrical systems and computer networks is a plus
