HDR is hiring a Site Civil Site Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Orlando, FL.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design of facilities related sites in support of a variety of markets including Commercial, Residential, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal
  • Coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration
  • Responsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
  • PE license
  • Experience in site development and the design of building related site civil (grading, utilities, storm drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control)
  • Strong operating knowledge of Civil 3D
  • Must be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound civil site designs
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of modeling software such as ICPR, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD, Bentley StormCAD
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
  • Local candidates are preferred
