Description

Our building engineering team assesses the structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in facilities with an emphasis on efficiency and quality. We are looking for a CAD Technician in our Orlando or Tampa office!

Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Complete 3D models and detailed drawings from sketches, plans, specifications, and written and verbal instructions using Revit and computer-aided drafting programs.
  • Coordinate with other team members and disciplines to design, lay out, or detail components and systems, to ensure conformity to design concepts, and to resolve design or other problems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to be proactive in determining the necessary steps to meet objectives and performance expectations of the position.
  • Skills in design and drafting within an architectural/engineering environment.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with advanced manual or computer drafting coursework or one year of job related experience
  • Knowledge of Revit and/or CADD modeling and drafting techniques and principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strongly prefer an Associates Degree in Engineering, Architectural, and/or Computer Aided Design Technology.
  • Programming skills (e.g. PyRevit) preferred
