The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, Florida is the largest in the nation and the program is highly ranked by the US News and World Report. To achieve national prominence, the Department has launched an ambitious agenda focused on expanding the graduate programs, facilities, recruiting talented faculty, and building research infrastructure and capabilities. The Department invites applications for a full time visiting faculty position for the 2024-25 academic year, starting August 14, 2024. We are interested in candidates capable of teaching undergraduate courses for our Department.

The Department, the largest in the nation with an enrollment of over 2300 students, offers Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees, including 68 students in our PhD program. The undergraduate program is currently ranked #4 and the graduate program is ranked #25 by U.S. News and World Report. ERAU, the world's largest, fully accredited university specializing in aviation and aerospace, offers more than 70 Baccalaureate, Master, and Ph.D. degree programs in Arts & Sciences, Aviation, Business, and Engineering. ERAU's eastern campus is located at Daytona Beach and serves a diverse student body of approximately 8,300 undergraduate including 780 graduate students.

Qualifications

Candidates should have an earned Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field. A PhD degree as well as industry experience are desirable. Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
