Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with embedded software written in C/C++.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Real-time embedded programming experience with VxWorks, Greenhills, or similar RTOS.
- Experience in CMMI 3 or higher work environment.
- Experience developing software for real-time control of events or synchronization.
- Familiar with the use of oscilloscopes, test equipment, and probes.
- Ability to comfortably work under Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience in Visual C++ (MFC) 6.0 or higher.
- Thorough knowledge of object-oriented techniques.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS-232, RS-422, and Mil-Std-1553.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills including report writing, requirements derivation, and documentation, as well as design review presentations.
- Must be comfortable in presenting to large groups of customers during design reviews and technical interchange meetings.

- The ability to travel by air or auto.
- The use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coats.
