JOB OVERVIEW: Valiant Integrated Services Program Director is an experienced professional with experiences in management, proposals, program and project performance, business analytics, and personnel management. The Program Director is focused on contract delivery, operating margin and growth within the assigned portfolio. The Program Director models behaviors consistent with the Valiant Core Values and establishes performance expectations that drive profitable growth and excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Manage overall health of projects within portfolio. Analyzes risks and escalates as appropriate to senior leadership executive management with recommendations.
  • Drive the performance of the programs including scope, financial performance, risks, contract delivery results, schedule and customer satisfaction to deliver successful results.
  • Coach and develop key talent through mentoring and on-the-job training of leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with customers to achieve enterprise commitments while improving customer satisfaction and addressing program opportunities / risks.
  • Provide day-to-day administration of the business through matrix reporting relationships with F&A, IT, HR, Compliance and Legal.
  • Execute defined business line goals and business and financial plans.
  • Communicate business performance at the end of each accounting period.
  • Ensure all appropriate personnel actions including evaluations, performance improvements and separations are conducted.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess SECRET clearance and be willing to obtain a TS/SCI Bachelor's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience working on large/complex DoD government contracts; experience with Navy and/or Air Force programs preferred.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active TS/SCI; Program Management Professional (PMP) certificate.
  • Familiar with Air Force and Navy aircraft operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with Collective Bargaining Agreement management; P&L in excess of $75M annual.
  • Applicants who have led complex tasks, large teams, or complex budgets will be favored.
