Job Description

If you are an amazing Drywall Framer interested in a career where you can grow and expand, then apply and see the opportunities that we have for you. Working with us, you would be Installing metal studs and fastening drywall to them on commercial and government projects.

For this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Gather and carry materials.
  • Clean work areas and equipment.
  • Measuring and marking the metal frames using chalk lines.
  • Cutting studs and metal runners to the specified measurements.
  • Installing metal studs to frames.
  • Always ensure compliance with industry and safety standards.
  • Fitting and fastening drywall boards on the frames.
  • Be able to work on scaffold, aerial lifts, ladders, and stilts.
  • Be able to use powder actuated tools and lasers.
  • Work indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to work individually and as a team player.
  • Maintain construction schedules including phasing.
  • And other duties as assigned by your manager.

Additional Qualifications that will make you successful in the role:

  • Working knowledge of the construction industry is required including reading plans/layouts/prints.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in steel stud carpentry.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Tools and transportation.
  • Must be able to handle physical workload.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
