Shift work (Evening (2-10pm) Weekdays) and some travel required. Must possess a U.S. DoD Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI.

Primary Responsibilities

Your Main Objective:

  • Provide support with the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of full stack data center infrastructure, including but not limited to: Compute, Storage, Networking, Power, Cabling, Racking, Virtualization, Containerization and physical facility infrastructure.
  • Work in a team environment, providing leadership and mentoring to a multi-faceted technical team of engineers of varying skills and experience.
  • Work in a product team environment with all stakeholders, being flexible to change in customer requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum system uptime and rapidly respond professionally, effectively, and efficiently to hardware and software service requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analyze problems and implement solutions according to corporate and government guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Assure system stability, accessibility, and proper configuration of all systems and components.
  • Establish processes and procedures for maintaining, configuring, managing and testing the systems, ensuring that application software, cybersecurity and operational use cases are fully accounted for.
  • Provide daily operations and maintenance on Cisco devices, physical and virtual F5 devices and on VMware NSX.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating tasks, administration, data collection and reporting.
  • Provide support in configuring systems by lifting servers into racks, performing cabling, install operating systems and applications.
  • Work with customers, vendors, and developers to communicate changes to operational requirements that may impact development and testing activities.
  • Perform system audits and performance log analysis and report results to team leads.

Basic Qualifications

What Sets You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years of experience in a relevant field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands from leadership, customer, and other team members.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Effective interpersonal and communications skills to convey and present system performance info, to mentor colleagues, and to interface effectively with vendors, customers, and team partners.
  • Ability to solve technical problems involving a variety of integrated software and hardware platforms.
  • Well-versed with Linux system management, specifically with Red Hat OS including Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign On (SSO).
  • Experience with scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash, Puppet, PowerShell)
  • Ability to navigate Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Git and Kustomize.
  • Experience with F5 / BIG IP physical and virtual network devices
  • Understanding of Cisco networking technologies such as the following. Switching (Cisco Nexus (7k's, 5k's, 2k's, 9k's, Catalyst 4k's, VLAN's, STP, RSTP, VPC, VPC+, OTV, VXLAN), Routing technologies (ASR, ISRG2, EIGRP, BGP, redistribution, summarization), IP (IPV4 & IPV6, NAT, ACL's, DNS, DHCP), Multicast protocols (PIM SM/DM/SSM), and Cisco IOS
  • Experience with Grafana Dashboards and Databases.
  • Experience with Mattermost collaboration platform.
  • Experience with Dell Hardware and iDRACs.

Preferred Qualifications

You Might Also Have:

  • CCNA or CISSP is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
  • Knowledge of Distributed Firewall (DFW) rules.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian Confluence and Jira products.
  • Knowledge of the Nakivo backup solution.
  • Knowledge of Minio and content transfer.
  • Knowledge of OpenDash360 platform.
  • Knowledge of SMTP servers.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
