Responsibilities:

* Support Electrical and Conveyance systems preventative maintenance and repair efforts.

* Perform work ensure quality meets not only all codes but Blue's expectations.

* Assist in the repair and maintenance of critical equipment in support of mission objectives.

* Read and interpret design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical, crane, elevator, and other large conveyance systems.

* Provide feedback to Engineering on major system failures and equipment malfunctions.

* Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.

* Assist with sourcing, vetting, and acquiring outside resources necessary for project support as needed.

* Source, order, or purchase, and confirm receipt of materials as needed.

Qualifications:

* Should have good knowledge of electrical, conveyances, and building mechanical systems.

* Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.

* Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds, conduct walk-throughs, and navigate stairs inside and outside, in addition to performing work outdoors as required.

* Possess a valid driver's license.

* Possess or have the ability to obtain a DBIDS.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Proven self-starter with problem-solving skills.

* Ability to flourish in an environment with multiple and shifting priorities.

* Demonstrated strong attention to detail, resolution, and follow-through skills.

* Applicants should know industrial facility operations.

* Applicants should be familiar with industrial and business safety.

* Applicant should have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings.

* Applicant should be familiar and able to operate high reach, forklift and crane systems.

* Applicant should be comfortable working at heights above 50'

* Applicant should have a minimum of 2,000 hours of documented work experience within a five-year period related to maintaining, inspecting, servicing, repairing, or modifying cranes.
