The Grove Resort & Water Park is seeking a Recreation Attendant to help oversees all functions of the Recreation Department including Activities Center, daily events, Pool Attendants, Life Guards, Lake Austin Pier and Water Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Guests in recreational areas and provide constant surveillance of pool areas to ensure Guest safety.
  • Act as a first responder to emergency situations that occur in the Recreational Areas.
  • Enforce policies, rules and regulations of the Recreation locations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time while monitoring the pool, lazy river and pier area.
  • Work in outdoor settings during various weather conditions.
  • Clear Waterpark and Pool area of used towels, lifejackets, and trash.
  • Maintain and exchange used and clean towel bins.
  • Proactively address Guest needs by answering questions, giving directions and other information about the resort or surrounding areas.
  • Maintain overall upkeep of all cabanas.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous hotel or resort recreation background
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Working both indoors and outdoors. Outside in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
  • CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certified.
