POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Development Representative will help support business strategies to grow FHCP's commercial ACA and Medicare business. This role will represent FHCP ACA and Medicare products through focused outreach to agents / brokers within the communities we serve. The Sales Development Representative is expected to communicate the FHCP value proposition through social outreach and networking with prospective members throughout the community to successfully grow FHCP business. Position will develop prospective clients while working cohesively with FHCP sales team members and agent channels.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills, and experience:
- BA or BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in health insurance sales or related market.
- Experience in sales with full range of health care product knowledge to include Medicare and ACA.
- Superior organization and planning skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
- The ability to positively influence others and project a strong, informed community image.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing and providing presentations.
- The ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members, customers, and agent brokers in a clear and concise manner.
- Must hold an active state of Florida Health Agency Health Insurance License in good standing.
- Knowledge and experience with Florida Blue and/or Florida Health Care Plans health products preferred.
- Experience / membership in community organizations preferred.
- Valid Florida Driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
