Responsibilities

  • The equipment services supervisor - refill will be responsible for leading a department in refurbishing refill equipment along with maintaining inventory and movement of that equipment and parts needed to refurbish that equipment at their location.
  • This role will ensure the team of equipment services technicians are meeting productivity targets, will work with supply chain to ensure the team has the appropriate parts and equipment to meet productivity targets, will work with operations to ensure the quality of the machines that are being produced, and will work with the deployment coordinator to ensure all necessary equipment for new location installs is being produced.
  • In addition, the equipment services supervisor - refill will be responsible for liaising with local site leadership to ensure proper receipt of parts and equipment as well as maintenance of local workspace to meet facility standards.
  • Manage equipment services technicians and track team results; teach, coach and assess direct reports to build a strong team
  • Meet or exceed productivity targets; communicate to management when there are roadblocks to meeting targets
  • Set and hold department standards in safety, quality, and output
  • Train new team members on refurbishment process and facility ongoing training with team to improve productivity
  • Plan and schedule needed materials / equipment in an appropriate timeframe to meet productivity targets
  • Ongoing communication with operations and quality teams to ensure quality of equipment produced
  • Ensure accurate inventory of all parts and equipment as well as proper and timely receipting of all shipments
  • Ensure team is meeting facility standards

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree and proven leadership experience in service and repair and/or manufacturing
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management and leadership skills
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Assertive ability to troubleshoot and manage difficult situations
  • Ability to work in a team environment across functional responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with proactive mentality
  • Customer service mentality
  • Preferred experience in either lean manufacturing and water repair
