Job Description

Arconic is currently in search of a Customer Service Coordinator to join our Order Execution Team located in Springdale, Arkansas.

Primary Purpose

Under the general direction of the CSC Supervisor, the Customer Service Coordinator positions primary responsibility is to review, and enter, customer purchase orders (PO's) by using proprietary software.

Major activities and Responsibilities:

  • Order Processing and Order Management
  • Review customer orders and purchases
  • Coordinate order status - placing an order in Estimating, Order Entry, and Takeoff statuses.
  • Send orders to manufacturing based on standard practices.
  • Work with our ordering system and release orders to manufacturing.
  • Adjusting prices based on established guidelines.
  • Interact with Customers and Sales Representatives
  • Generous training period
  • Work with customer on processing, scheduling, order changes, product issues, customer claims.
  • Utilize or develop knowledge of product and price book.
  • Interact and coordinate with internal resources on projects.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Access, that will be further developed with training in all Kawneer front-end systems
  • Data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Construction or architectural industry background a plus
  • Proven customer service skills including prompt response and documentation

Major Customers

  • External customers and sales representatives, as well as internal project managers and production control

Basic Qualifications

  • HS diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Commercial or residential construction industry experience.
