What you'll do

Infotech is seeking a Business Analyst for our AASHTOWare Products division to serve as a subject matter expert for both customers and product(s) and is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing software solutions that meet business and customer needs.

As a Business Analyst for Construction, you will:

  • Serve as an AASHTOWare Project expert for Construction, representing customer perspective to engineers, sales, and other employees.
  • Conduct analysis and flag discrepancies between customer requirements and product capabilities. Architect best approach based on complex requirements. Propose enhancements based on customer needs.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with customers to gather requirements. Assist with decision-making. Identify training needs and document decisions and procedures.
  • Lead product demos.
  • Collaborate on a project team leading product implementations (note: implementations can span anywhere between 6 months to several years in length)
  • Develop and conduct custom implementation training for clients when needed.
  • Test business and functional processes during implementation, system development, and quality assurance testing.
  • Collaborate with clients, content specialists, sales and marketing, business analysts, etc. to communicate product and implementation information.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must have

Bachelor's degree in related field and 4 years' relevant experience; or master's degree in related field and 2 years' relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We'd like you to have

  • 6 years relevant experience in business analysis-related role.
  • Experience working with software development or complex technology.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience within the highway construction industry.
  • Experience integrating business needs, customer requirements, and system capabilities.

Other requirements

This position requires up to 25% travel to other DOT clients and to Infotech's Gainesville headquarters as needed.
