At Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), we believe that achieving the American Dream is possible for everyone, regardless of age. It is our mission to promote pathways to economic self-sufficiency for older individuals and their families who are working to achieve this dream. Our goals are the enhancement of employment opportunities for older Americans and the promotion of older workers as a solution for businesses seeking a trained, qualified, and reliable workforce.

BETA Center is a private, nonprofit organization with 25 years of experience helping families, regardless of age or economic status, in the greater Orlando area including Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. With a focus on parenting, teen moms and at-risk families, BETA Center changes behaviors and lives. The agency offers a wide range of services to support children and families, increase healthy family functioning and prevent child abuse and neglect.

Christian Help prevents homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs while providing for them materially and spiritually. Each unemployed person who comes into the office, comes to a seminar or calls in, completes a skills profile. The Christian HELP counselor uses this, along with the person's resume in an interview to determine what the person is best suited to do. The counselor then reviews open jobs for ones requiring the job seeker's skills and discusses the job openings with the seeker.

Florida’s adult education system includes a range of instructional programs that help adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. The major program areas are Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Experience Works helps low-income seniors, many with multiple barriers to employment, get the training they need to find good jobs in their local communities. Experience Works is a national, charitable, community-based organization. Originally named Green Thumb, and chartered in 1965 as a small, rural demonstration program, Experience Works has grown to be the nation’s leading provider of training, employment, and community service for low-income older people.

The JCC of Greater Orlando is the center of Jewish life in Central Florida and home to award-winning preschool, after school, summer camp, fitness, sports, arts and community programs, with locations in Maitland and Dr. Phillips.

Katrina's Angels is a national volunteer effort that is driven by the generosity of people wanting to make a difference for others. Katrina's Angels is registered in the State of Florida and operating with a 501 (c)(3) non-profit status through its parent organization, ATAYAL. We are committed to providing coordinated solutions to rebuild the lives of the individuals displaced by Hurricane Katrina, and other natural disasters through our volunteers and our partners.

New Directions Community Outreach's mission is to reach out to the community to make it a safer and better place. We will accomplish this by providing eductional programs, life skills training, and health awareness. We are a service oriented organization that provides HIV/AIDS awareness training and testing. We offer GED classes and tutoring to the public. We also offer recreational classes such as ceramics and sewing.
