Christian Help prevents homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs while providing for them materially and spiritually. Each unemployed person who comes into the office, comes to a seminar or calls in, completes a skills profile. The Christian HELP counselor uses this, along with the person's resume in an interview to determine what the person is best suited to do. The counselor then reviews open jobs for ones requiring the job seeker's skills and discusses the job openings with the seeker.

Katrina's Angels is a national volunteer effort that is driven by the generosity of people wanting to make a difference for others. Katrina's Angels is registered in the State of Florida and operating with a 501 (c)(3) non-profit status through its parent organization, ATAYAL. We are committed to providing coordinated solutions to rebuild the lives of the individuals displaced by Hurricane Katrina, and other natural disasters through our volunteers and our partners.

New Directions Community Outreach's mission is to reach out to the community to make it a safer and better place. We will accomplish this by providing eductional programs, life skills training, and health awareness. We are a service oriented organization that provides HIV/AIDS awareness training and testing. We offer GED classes and tutoring to the public. We also offer recreational classes such as ceramics and sewing.

In 1992, Restore Orlando set out to achieve a vision of raising a generation of people who are spiritually, physically, and emotionally equipped to use their God-given talents to develop permanent and positive growth in their families and community. Today, Restore Orlando, with the support and partnership of churches, businesses, foundations and private citizens, is restoring hope in the lives of Central Florida residents. Restore Orlando's Core Programs reflect the organization's growth and capacity to empower and enable Central Florida's disadvantaged residents.

The Mission of the Arts Council of Northwest Florida is to create a premiere arts community in the Pensacola Bay Area. As an umbrella organization, we enrich the quality of life by providing leadership, advocacy, financial support and education.

With funding from the Winter Park Health Foundation, Seniors First, Inc. spearheaded the development of Wisdom-Works - a program to prepare and promote individuals 55 plus for today's workforce. The program uses the skills of trained volunteers as peer coaches or mentors to guide older adults to greater success in the job search. In April 2007 Wisdom-Works was adopted by WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA ONE-STOP CAREER CENTER (OSCC). The ONE-STOP CENTER has a wide array of resources and job leads, which can be accessed independently or through the assistance of the Wisdom-Works coaches.
