Community Outreach to Minorities

The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida serves our community as a conduit in providing invaluable mentoring, seminars, and network functions that assists our members with opportunities for designing blueprints for business development, growth, and success.

The Arab American Community Center (AACC) is a community based organization established in Orlando in 1988. Over the past years, the AACC has grown to become one of the most prominent Arab-American organizations in the state of Florida, and its mission and mandate have expanded to sponsoring programs and working in the areas of civil rights, civic education & empowerment, business & professional issues, cultural outreach, immigration counseling, and youth development.

Black Women of Essence, Inc. (BWOE) is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Women of Color Organization. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life by providing resources, services, education, networking opportunities along with advocacy and promoting self-awareness within our communities. We are committed to improving the quality of life in the following areas: Children's Advocacy (mentoring, literacy and tutoring), HIV/AIDS awareness, Domestic Violence Prevention/Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Central Florida Urban League (formerly known as the Metropolitan Orlando Urban League) was founded on August 5, 1977 and chartered as a national organization on May 28, 1978. An affiliate of the National Urban League, our chapter was created by respected community leaders who believed that Orlando’s African-American community would benefit from professional, economic, and social support. Today, more than 40,000 residents have benefited from our various empowerment programs. The mission of the Urban League is to assist Central Floridians in achieving social and economic equality.

The Cuban American National Council (CNC) is a non-profit organization providing human services to persons in need from all racial and ethnic groups. CNC assists individuals to become self reliant and builds bridges among America’s diverse communities.

The mission of the FMSDC is to provide a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned business enterprises. Now in our 27th year, our non-profit corporation is the premiere networking organization for minority businesses in Florida.

The Florida Chamber of Commerce is committed to securing Florida’s future by improving the business climate through regulatory reform and streamlining economic development. For several years, Florida Chamber members have stressed that burdensome government regulations are the number one obstacle to job creation, economic development and a predictable business environment.

We've been working to support you, your family, and friends since 1976. The Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Community Center of Central Florida started out as a Gay Hotline. In 1987 we became the first Gay Community Center to open its doors in Florida. The CENTER promotes the well-being of the GLBT community.

The mission of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando is to provide leadership and support the economic development of the Hispanic business community of Metro Orlando.

IACC's Mission is to facilitate commerce between the U.S. and India, enable Indo-American businesses to succeed, to promote the needs of business owners and professionals, facilitate access to the Indo-American market, to increase the participation of the Indo-American community in the mainstream and be the voice of the Indo-American Business Community

The Multicultural Student Center (MSC) will help facilitate the inclusive shared learning experience for all UCF Knights. We will promote an environment that acknowledges respects, enhances, and celebrates all aspects of culture. Through intentional programming, with Student Organizations, and the UCF community, we will encourage the educational exploration of multiculturalism, engage in dialogue, challenge assumptions and barriers, and work with the surrounding community to support and build collaborative relationships across the University.

The mission of the NAACP is to eliminate racial prejudice and to remove all barriers of racial discrimination through the democratic process. This mission is carried out through the implementation of several programs and services. The organization actively keeps its hand on the pulse of the community and modifies its programs and services to meet the changing times.

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is dedicated to the recognition and professional advancement of Hispanics in the news industry. Established in April 1984, NAHJ created a national voice and unified vision for all Hispanic journalists.
